Everyone needs it but it is becoming a reality that not everyone can afford it.

What is it?

It is the average cost of gas which is going up up and away.

I live in California where the average cost of gasis almost $4 a gallon. That's crazy. That's insane. That's the world we are living in today.

Do you remember the 70's when we as a people finally said enough was enough?

Do you remember the long lines at the gas pumps because we refused to pay unreasonable prices for gasoline? Is it time to have another war over the average cost of gas?

Seems like something needs to be done.

Seems like we have been gouged long enough.

One thing you can do is visit this blog and leave your comments related to the average cost of gas.

How right you are Louise.  Every time something is tried to escape petrol it is blocked though some things are finally happening that might start changing that in big ways.

What type of work do you do Steven?

all I know is

that we should have given up using petrol years ago

but big business is just too greedy

Very true Guy! I unfortunately, am commuting for work and then meeting clients all day long.

It also sounds like it would free up much more of your time to do things you really want to be doing instead of driving.  Very good points here.  If enough of us followed your suggestion supply and demand would force gas to go down instead of up up and away.

I know that gas is going up, but just sitting around crying about it does nothing. I hate when gas goes up just as much as the next person, but what we really need to do is change our lifestyles. Find ways to consume less gas so that we don't have to spend as much. I mean, I drive 25 miles EACH way to and from work 5 days a week and then drive, on average, another 100 miles while I am at work.

That's why I want to replace my job income with online income. It will allow me to work from home more and drive less which equals a drop in the cost of gas for me!
